Welcome to Mosaic Cipher — a new kind of dispatch for a community that’s already in motion. At the heart of Mosaic are three things: community, psychedelics, and culture.

Community, because we’re not meant to do this alone. Psychedelics, because they crack open the edges of what we think is possible. And culture, because it’s the soil everything grows from — including the future. In a time that often feels disconnected, uncertain, or flat-out surreal, gathering in real life to ask real questions (with real people) is radical.

This newsletter is how we stay connected between those nights. Think of it as a thread, a pulse, a nudge — a reminder that you’re now a part of something unfolding.

🔮 Flashback

Something happens when you put the right mix of people in a room — not just to be entertained, but to question, feel, and actually engage. That’s what MOSAIC Season 2 launch was. In a new space with a new format, we somehow created something that felt both expansive and close. Ben Kahan reminded us that magic isn’t about tricks — it’s about presence. al colibrí aka Jordan Loewen-Colón pulled us into the future, where AI is rising fast, but Ancestral Intelligence might have something to say about it. Brigitte BsTaRLOVE brought it all home with this: it’s not about the tool or the ritual — it’s about the courage to see yourself. Maya Bastian’s visuals hit deep, offering a glimpse into the occupied Tamil homelands and the stories that shape our perception. Add a sonic portal from acidtrip.ca and some word-spells from Jordan that shook the room, and yeah — it was a night that lingered.

🎙️ Monthly Mosaic Salon (New!)

Mosaic Salon is our new monthly hang — a cozy Wednesday night gathering where curious minds meet over good food and better conversation. Think of it as a pit stop between Mosaic events, where we make space for real people, real questions, and meaningful dialogue around psychedelics, culture, consciousness — and whatever else the table brings. We don’t do small talk. Come as you are, and as you become.

Salon_1 is Wednesday, April 16th and continue monthly from there. Save the dates May 21st followed by MOSAIC S2E1 June 12th, and then July 16th!

Hosted by your very own Mission Club team Sumit Bhatia, Kowsheek Mahmood, and Raad Seraj. Dinner + drinks are on us (thank you Nikean Foundation 🙏). We only ask for a small contribution to ensure participation.

🕯For Maya

We’re closing this first Mosaic Cipher on a somber note.

Maya Moreno, a beautiful presence in our community and a guest at MOSAIC S1E3, has tragically passed after a severe accident during a spiritual journey in the Peruvian Amazon. Maya suffered burns to over 70% of their body after falling into a volcanic river near a sacred site deeply tied to their healing and ancestral path.

Before their passing, a GoFundMe was launched to urgently raise funds for a medical evacuation back to Canada. That campaign now continues to help Maya’s family cover the enormous medical and logistical costs they took on in those final days.

Maya was a quiet force — gentle, wise, and full of spirit. A parent, a gardener, a seeker. They held space with humility and grace, and we’re honored they were part of the MOSAIC circle.
